Glenn Ward: During the mid-seventies I apprenticed as an
upholsterer for Ralph Kamo. While working in his shop I realized
that most chair and sofa design is restricted by the construction.
I determined to find a way of designing a chair that would express
liberty from traditional form. As well as being the answer to this
design restriction, the Kamo Chair is functional lounge seating.
It is laminated ash with leather. |
